Coming from the real upstate NY with a small Jewish community I come to realize how privileged Binghamton students are to have such influence as Chabad. As we disperse to all the corners of our country or even the world, we will always remember how the moment we walked into the Chabad House we felt proud of our Jewish identity.
We have to thank Chabad for providing such environment where that Jewish identity can be preserved and cultivated. The Chabad house was able to put life into perspective for us, differentiating between what is important and what is not. Our Binghamton experiences would not have been complete without Chabad. Not only have we enriched our social life by meeting our closest friends there, we discussed current issues and took classes on the Bible. The opportunities for learning were endless, whether you are learning how to make Rivky’s challa or learning a new prayer. Thank you Chabad for giving us a chance to celebrate life in a Jewish context!
