Nobody can understand the full impact that Chabad has on this campus and on Binghamton University students until one becomes a part of the Binghamton University community. On the outside, Chabad appears big and intimidating. While it is intimidating the first time, it becomes small and intimate by the fifth time.
After spending one year in Israel in a school with 64 girls I was worried I would not find my place in Binghamton. Chabad prevented that from happening. My relationship with Chabad has slowly grown over the past four years and is a relationship I will cherish for the rest of my life. In my first semester I was not that involved but who knew that by the time senior year came around I would have helped run numerous programs, attended even more events and most importantly have gotten the chance to learn with Rivky.
Thank you Chabad House for making each and everyone of us a part of your family and special thanks for bringing Shabbat to us off-campus students as well.
