Name: Saul Daiell
Major: American History
Future Plans: Masters at Binghamton
Being a member of the Ferrets, SUNY-Binghamtons only all-male, comedic, Jewish a cappella group, is not easy. A Ferret needs to have a golden voice, great fashion sense, and a rockhard body. Thankfully, I possess all of these attributes, and then some. I would like to thank the Chabad House family for letting me utilize its stage and sound system during my Binghamton tour.
On a serious note, I would also like to thank the Chabad House for allowing Jewish students to feel welcome, regardless of level of religious observance. My level of religious practice has declined dramatically since leaving yeshiva high school four years ago. Rabbis Slonim and Creeger have allowed me to discuss my religious identity without any fear of being reprimanded or scolded. They are not only great religious role models, but, more importantly, outstanding human beings, willing to listen to other peoples viewpoints and perspectives.
