After spending a year in Israel, America (let alone Binghamton) was the last place I wanted to be. Despite my initial hesitation, these past three years have been unbelievable. Where else can you get first hand experience in grape juice pouring and cholent potato peeling? Here you really can major in potato peeling and vegetable cutting.
When asked about my college experience, great memories come to mind, many of them having happened at Chabad. From my very first experience at Chabad until now, and all in between, love and friendship have been permanently expressed. Whether it be a wave hello, a hug or even a smile, it’s reassuring to know that you’re not alone on a campus where it’s easy to be alone. Chabad has helped me prove wrong all those people who said it isn’t possible to remain true to yourself and your beliefs while in Binghamton.
I hope that Chabad will go from strength to strength, continuing to grow with each passing year.
