Well, I am finally graduating. I had what one would call a love/hate relationship with this school. I hated this school while I was here, but when I was away; I kind of missed it. I came to this school as a sheltered Jewish girl who had attended yeshiva her whole life. I was scared as to what I would find in such a big school. And I am leaving as a sheltered Jewish girl. But the important thing is what I found here - I found my love for religion, although many questions still loom in my head. I found a group of people who are caring and kind, and who won't pass judgment on you based on where you came from, and I also learned that one need not be influenced in order to be influential. I hope that the current students at the university will take advantage of the many opportunities that are available to them and I also hope that they can at least go away with what I learned and realize, as I have, their potential in both secular and Judaic studies. |
