Chabad has been a huge part of my years at Binghamton. I was hooked from my very first Shabbat here freshman year. That first week of school was very overwhelming and Friday night things just seemed to calm down and everything and everyone felt familiar. This is a feeling that has continually stayed with me. I've met my best friends here and shabbas dinners at Chabad have continued to be important parts of, and even strengthened our friendships through the years. From Purim carnivals to rallies for Israel, the Jewish community at Binghamton University is such a special one and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. |
