| Our third day started with a talk by Mrs. Leisha Rose, a holocaust survivor. She didn't just survive - she risked her life many times to help save others, too. |
| Here is Mrs. Rose, telling part of her story. She stood the entire time, and spoke in a loud, clear voice. Because we were running late and on a tight schedule, she had to cut it short. But her book was for sale for anyone interested in knowing the rest. |
| It was cold and rainy when we went to the Holocaust Museum - Yad Vashem. This large memorial room has a flame burning in memory of all those who perished in the concentration camps listed on the floor. |
| Part of our group went along with Yael our tour guide as she pointed out the main points in the history of the Holocaust and the anti-semitism that led up to it. |
| Towards the end of the history tour is this large picture of young Jews still wearing their concentration camp "pajamas", but looking forward to their journey to their homeland - Israel. |
| This is part of the entrance to the Children's Memorial. The unfinished sculptures above symbolize the young lives cut short, unable to fulfill their potential. |
