Our first stop was Tel Aviv Independence Hall, where Israel first declared the Jewish State. We were not the only group there. Busses 11 and 12 basically were together the entire trip.

This is a picture of the sand dunes and Jews that became Tel Aviv. The house we were in was built on that very spot.

Latrun - the site of a fierce battle during the War of Independence, and is now the museum and memorial for the Armored Corps. It used to be a British outpost.

A selection of the tanks on display of all types and ages, from many different countries. Most were used against Israel in the various wars.

Inside part of the Latrun Memorial - the Tower of Tears. A very symbolic place that portrays hoiw the battles fought by the Armored Corps create a new beginning for Israel's citizens.
