Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

On Friday, May 12 hundreds of students filled the Chabad House for the annual Good- Bye Shabbaton; to celebrate Shabbat together one last time and to honor the graduating class of 2006. The evening began with a cocktail party and the traditional senior class picture and included services and dinner. The highlight of the evening came when some of the graduating seniors delivered  brief but meaningful - sometimes funny, sometimes poignant - remarks focusing on their Jewish experience at BU. The party didn't end until close to 2am with students lingering for one last "Oneg" to sing songs and share that special Shabbat spirit. L'hitraot until next year!
