On Thursday, June 14th, 170 alumni of the Binghamton University Chabad House Jewish Student Center spanning the years 1985-2001, gathered for the annual alumni reunion at Abigael's restaurant in Manhattan. The evening included gourmet hors d'oeuvres, dinner and a dessert buffet; a stand-up comedy routine by Avi Lieberman ('93), a West Coast comedian; a video presentation about the restoration of Jewish life in the former Soviet Union; and remarks by Rabbi Aaron Slonim, Chabad House director.

However, according to Rivkah Slonim, "The highlight of the evening for all of us was being able to see each other. For Aaron and me, each alumni reunion is a magical event at which we have the opportunity to see dear friends, many of who we have not seen for a long time. A special thrill was meeting fiances and spouses, holding precious babies and kvelling over pictures of many other children who are growing up so fast!"
